year in review
Saskatchewan is nearing one-year
of the Prompt Payment Legislation being enforced in our province. The
construction industry continues to adapt engrained practices to better reflect
the new regulations. The Adjudication process, which provides teeth to the
legislation, is better understood and industry is learning about functionality
and applicability. The new-to-Saskatchewan Adjudication process, changes the
landscape of resolving all construction project issues from payment timelines
to general disputes.
